The management of disaster situations is always a complex endeavour that requires skilled performance under pressure and usually with great uncertainty. Crisis Management has three clear objectives: absorbing the severe disruption and confusion caused to civilian life, assisting and protecting the victims and restoring normal life as swiftly as possible. To do so, a Crisis Manager needs the skills and technical means to provide a quick and effective response to the ever changing circumstances.
